Surf Lessons
Standard location for the surf lessons are Playa Chaman in Uvita or Playa Hermosa, depending on the conditions. Our main goals are your safety and to provide you the knowledge that you need to surf. The surf lessons are focusing on your needs and surf level, always in small or private groups. We offer surf lessons for all levels (beginners, intermediate, advanced). Our instructors are passionate Costa Rican surfers and excited to share their experience with you in our beautiful country. We want you to enjoy the time with us and to get the knowledge of surfing you need for being able to practice on your own. We will provide instructions for Paddle technique, Pop-up technique, Turn technique (depending on your experience) on land before practicing in the Water.

Canopy Tour from Uvita
This adrenaline tour will take place in Palmar Norte, 40 minutes by car from Uvita. It includes 7 ziplines (ranging from 200 m to 1.1 km), movements between 13 platforms, get lowered down on 3 rappels, 2 hanging bridges and 1 Tarzan swing. The tour is guided by a professional team, for whom the safety of all customers comes first. Therefore, due to safety reasons, several restrictions apply.

Horseback Riding from Uvita
Horseback riding it’s the authentic method of transportation in Costa Rica that locals still use. This specific tour we guided by a Costa Rican guy, whose life is based on horses and agriculture. As he grew up in Uvita town, he is very familiar with this place and can show the best places that can be reached by horse only.
The tour is available either on the beachside or mountain.

Fishing Tour (private)
This is a private tour starting from Parque National Marino Ballena. During the tour you will see different places of the ocean area of the National Park, including Ballena Island. Depending on the season, our captain will show us the specific spots where the seasonal fishes can be found. The captain is born and raised in Uvita and fishing all his life, therefore he has the best knowledge of the area. If the weather conditions allow it, an optional stop for snorkeling is possible at Ballena Island or at the Whale tail.

Whale Watching and Dolphin Tour (shared)
The tour starts at Bahia Ballena, Marino Ballena Parque National. After the safety instructions at the beach, we will board the boat and follow with the introduction of the Parque National. Our main goal of this tour is finding the whales and dolphins. Afterwards, we will show you the different places of the national park and surrounding areas (Ballena Island, Playa Arco, Playa Ventanas, etc). Depending on the conditions of the ocean, we offer an optional stop for snorkeling. We are also able to offer this tour as a private tour. In case you are interested, feel free to reach out to us.

Nauyaca Waterfall Tour from Uvita
From Uvita it’s a 20 minutes’ drive by car until we reach the entrance of the Nauyaca Waterfall. From there, it’s a 4 km hike through the forest/mountain, where we have the possibility to see different kind of animals living in this area (Toucans, sloths, iguanas, monkeys and others). The Nauyaca Waterfalls consist of two waterfalls. For the upper one, its not possible to swim, while the lower waterfall enters in a small pool where we have the possibility to swim. We will have time for a break (snacks, water, natural drinks) before we hike back to the car. On our way back to Uvita, we offer two optional stops (Dominical town, Dominicalito, mountain view on the road to San Josecito).
For this tour we need a minimum of 2 people.

Mixed Waterfall Tour from Uvita
We will be visiting 2 waterfalls (El Pavon and Uvita waterfall, or El Pavon and Poza Azul) depending on weather condition. Our guide will show you the places where you can jump into the waterfall or slide down safely, if the water conditions allow it.

Archeological Tour from Uvita
We will pick you up at your accommodation in Uvita and drive to Sierpe, where the Sphere Museum Finca 6 is located. Finca 6 is the second archaeological site open to the public in Costa Rica, along with Guayabo. It’s one of few cases with conserved residential constructions having associated stone spheres. Some of the spheres present are in situ, meaning they have never been removed since their discovery. The Sphere Stones are one of the UNESCO World Heritage, unique at the Osa Peninsula. The archeological site consists of an indoor part, showing the history of the Sphere Stones, as well as an outdoor part, showing the findings of the Sphere Stones, several of them still in their original location.

Deposit and Cancellation Policy
Deposit
As our company is offering tours only with small/ private groups, a deposit of 20 % is due at the time of making your reservation and can be done via PayPal or Costa Rican bank account. This will ensure you that your tour is booked, as we will reserve the selected date for you.
When You Need To Cancel
We are aware that sometimes you just need to cancel a tour due to other circumstances. Therefore, our cancellation policy tries to be flexible and fair to both parties. In case you are cancelling 72 or more hours before the tour, we will fully refund you the deposit via PayPal, unless agreed otherwise. If you cancel less than 72 hours before the tour, the deposit will not be refunded.
When We Need To Cancel
As the weather in Costa Rica can be wild, especially in rainy season, it might happen that a tour needs to be cancelled at short notice. In any case of climate delays, heavy rain or thunderstorms, the tour can either be moved to the next available time or will be fully refunded. This is to ensure the safety of our guests, which is always the highest priority in any of our tours.
